Age Criteria Details For Entrance Exam 2023

• Students who has passed or appearing in the previous classes means Class Vth and VIIIth are eligible to appear in entrance examination.
• For Class VI – 10 to 12 years. Student should be born between 01 April 2011 to 31 March 2013 (Both Dates inclusive).Admission for Girls is open in Class VI only in all Sainik Schools.
• For Class IX – 13 to 15 years. Applicant should be born between following dates – 1 April 2008 to 31 March 2010 (Both Dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification Details For Entrance Exam 2023

• Class VI: Must passed the Class V (5th).
• Class IX: Must Passed Class VIII (8th).
• Note: Students who are appearing in the previous year class (5th and 8th) are also eligible to apply, but finally they must have to pass the examination of Class 5th / 8th to become eligible for admission.

DOCUMENTS TO PRESENT AT TIME OF ADMISSION 2023-24

1. Please ensure that before you report to the School for admission, the under mentioned documents are duly completed. The formats where applicable, are given in the appendices at the end of Section - III. These important documents are to be executed by you and must be presented in original at the time of admission, failing which admission will not be possible.
   1. Agreement bond to be executed on Non-Judicial Stamp papers of value 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) Performa as Appendices- ‘A’ & ‘B’.
   2. Certificate of Permanent Resident issued by the District Tahsildar.
   3. As proof of date of birth, the parents shall submit the following documents in original at time of Admission.
      1. Original Birth Certificate issued from the Registrar of Death & Births.
      2. Original Cast Certificate from competent authority of state.
2. Ex-servicemen personnel are to produce an attested copy of their discharge certificate.
3. Adoption Deed. In case of adopted children, the original adoption deed along with an attested copy should be submitted to the school along with other documents for record. The original adoption deed will be returned after verification. Please note that acceptance or otherwise of the adoption rests with the school authorities.
4. Latest passport size photos of the boy. The parents/guardians are to submit six latest passport size colour photos of their son/daughter/ward at the time of admission.
5. Signatures on the Documents All the documents submitted to the school must be only signed by the father of the boy/girl. If father of the boy/girl is not alive, documents shall be signed by the boy/Girl mother and if both the parents are not alive, the same will be signed by the legal guardian. In case of adoption, the documents must be signed by the adopted father/mother whichever is applicable. Every parent/guardian will sign the declaration(s).
6. Admission to the School implies that the Students and their parents are will to comply with the requirements, rules and regulations of the school, as promulgated from time to time.
