NDA is one of the most sought after defence entrance exams in the country. NDA recruitment is conducted for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). NDA is conducted twice a year. The exam is conducted two stages - written exam and SSB Interview. Around 4 lakh aspirants sit for NDA every year, out of which approximately 6000 are called for SSB Interview. NDA (II) 2019 exam was conducted on November 17, 2019. Aspirants must ensure they satisfy the NDA Age limit 2025 before applying for the recruitment drive. For NDA I, aspirants must be born between 2 nd July 2006 to 1st July 2009. To apply for NDA II, the candidate must be born in between 2nd January 2007 to 1st January 2010.

Candidates can fill out the NDA Application form 2025 on the official website or direct link shared above. Follow the steps below to apply online for the UPSC NDA 2025 Exam without any hassles.
Step 1: Go to the official UPSC website, i.e. upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click the "Apply Online link" for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination 2025.
Step 3: Enter the valid details to complete OTR registration.
Step 4: Log in with the Registration ID and password and complete NDA Online Form 2025.
Step 5: Upload the documents in the prescribed format and pay the application fees.
Step 6: Take the printout of the NDA Application Form 2025 for future reference.
Exam results will be released around one month after the exam begins. Candidates can find the results on the official website. If an applicant receives qualifying marks, he or she will be invited to the SSB Interview.
The UPSC will disclose the exam answer key after the exam has been completed and around the same time they will reveal the results.
Step 1: Written Exam
The first step involves the written exam.
The exam involves two papers on mathematics and general ability.
Step 2: SSB Interview
The second step involves the SSB Interview.
Candidates who clear the written exam are called for the SSB Interview which tests them on their personality, physical fitness, group discussions, and psychology.
Step 3: Medical Exam
Candidates who pass the entrance exam and the SSB Interview are next medically assessed to determine their fitness to join the armed forces.
A medical professional will be assigned to examine the candidates for any flaws.
If the candidates are found to be medically fit, they will be accepted into the academy.
Candidates must ensure that any permanent body tattoos, if present, are only on the inside side of the forearm. Tattoos on the inside of the elbow to the wrist, as well as the reverse side of the palm/back (dorsal) side of the hand, would not be accepted by UPSC. Permanent tattoos on any other region of the body are also prohibited. If the candidate belongs to a tribe where tattoo marks on the face or body are traditional, admission will be given on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the customs involved. In such cases, the decision of the authorities would be definitive.

Note: Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website (upsconline.nic.in) for being downloaded by candidates. No Admit Card will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid & active e-mail id while filling up online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.
Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

Candidates (excepting SC/ST candidates/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs specified in Note 2 below who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/MasterCard/Rupay Credit/Debit Card.

Part A will include questions from English whereas Part B will include questions based on General Knowledge. General Knowledge comprises of Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Current Affairs, Geography, History, Freedom Movement etc.
